The EVADE SERIES – Professional Full Duplex Wireless Crew Communication

The Eartec EVADE Series is a full-duplex wireless intercom system suitable for facilitating communication among nine people for light industrial applications. This set includes one single-ear master headset for the team leader and eight single-ear remote headsets. All the technology necessary for operating the intercom system, including the battery, has been built into the headset's earcup—eliminating the need for wires or a bodypack. The headsets link automatically for transmission in the 2.4 GHz spectrum at a maximum range up to 1148', and a station hub is not required.

The microphone boom on each headset swivels up to 270°, allowing the user to wear it on the left or right side. Rotating the boom into the up position automatically mutes the microphone, and a simple, five-level volume control is easily accessed on the earcup. Power is supplied by a built-in rechargeable LiPo battery, which will power a headset for up to 8 hours. Nine rechargeable batteries, a nine-bay multi-port charger, and a soft-side case are provided.

Eartec EVADE are a new class of Light Industrial wireless team communication systems designed for professional crews that need instantaneous, hands free voice contact. Operating in full duplex mode they allow crews to talk simultaneously and hands free. They feature deluxe padding and a sleek, fully adjustable headband that provide outstanding comfort. EVADE have the capacity to link up to nine users within a 1/2 mile range enhancing coordination, productivity, and safety.

EVADE headsets are self-contained with a compact full duplex transceiver built inside the ear cups eliminating wires and belt packs. Each complete intercom includes one “MAIN” headset that relays the digital signals generated by up to eight “Remotes”. The headsets link automatically without a base station which makes the EVADE series easy to operate, reliable, and affordable.

A digital wireless technology known as Frequency Hopping controls the operation of all EVADE intercoms. These specialty headsets monitor the surrounding environment, and actually switch or “HOP” automatically to clear channels. This is the same wireless protocol utilized by the U.S. Armed Forces to keep communications completely secret and interference free.

EVADE headsets are offered in three models, Single and Dual speaker with traditional over the head band, and the XTreme a deluxe dual ear hard hat compatible model. Since they are field programmable it is easy to expand an existing system to meet the growing needs of your crew.
