A quality mic with USB convenience
As its name suggests, the RODE Podcaster microphone was specifically designed for computer recording applications where wide frequency response and low distortion are demanded. The Podcaster makes digital recording “plug and play” easy with its built-in A/D conversion and USB connection.
Quality USB mic based on broadcaster design
The RODE Podcaster is based on their popular Broadcaster microphone – winner of the Radio World/US National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) “What’s Cool” award. The Broadcaster has become an industry standard when studio sound quality is required for on-air applications. Now the Podcaster makes this quality available in a super-convenient USB version for the current generation of computer recording applications.
Tailored-for-voice frequency response plus highpass filter
The Podcaster offers an end-address configuration, the clarity of RODE’s tailored-for-voice frequency response, an “ON” LED, a direct headphone amp, and of course very low self noise. The microphone offers a switchable highpass filter and comes complete with a 5M USB cable. Optional extras include a shock mounting system and soon-to-be-released Anglepoise style table mount arm.
