The SONY ECM-V1BMP : ELECTRET CONDENSER LAVALIER MIC is an omnidirectional lavalier microphone with a locking 3.5mm connector wired specifically for use with selected Sony bodypack transmitters, including the UWP series. The microphone features an omnidirectional polar pattern that picks up sound in a 360° radius around the mic capsule, helping to deliver consistent levels, even if the talent turns away from the capsule. The electret condenser capsule is optimized to run on 5 VDC, but will function with a 1.1 to 10 VDC power source. The ECM-V1BMP offers a wide 40 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response and features 2.3mm diameter cable with a 3.9' length. A lapel clip to attach the mic to clothing and a windscreen to reduce wind and breath noise are both included.
