Designed for 4K, 8K, and VR video workflows, the SANDISK PROFESSIONAL : G-RAID PROJECT is a high performance, 2-bay enterprise-class storage system. Made of up 2x 7200 rpm Ultrastar Enterprise-class hard drives, the G-RAID PROJECT delivers read speeds of up to 480 MB/s and write speeds of up to 490 MB/s. Using a hardware controller, it comes preconfigured as RAID 0, which stripes the drives together for faster performance. If you don't need RAID 0, RAID 1, and JBOD are also supported. In terms of connectivity, this array is equipped with two 40 Gb/s Thunderbolt 3 ports, one of which is used for host connectivity, while the other remains available for daisy-chaining up to five additional devices. Also available is a PRO-BLADE SSD Mag slot, allowing users to work with content from a PRO-BLADE SSD Mag. The G-RAID PROJECT 2 comes preformatted for macOS 11 or later and iPadOS 14 or later, but may be used with Windows 10 and 11 via a simple reformat.
