Nuts About Nets was founded in 2006 in the city of Redmond, WA -- well known as a technology center and home to a number of well-known high-tech, biomedical and software companies (e.g. Microsoft). Initially the core of our business was installing and configuring computer networks -- both wired and wireless. Hence the 'Nets' portion of our name, referring to communication networks. Shortly after our business began it became apparent that a demand (and niche) existed for developing diagnostic tools for troubleshooting wireless networks. We learned that even for people with experience managing wired networks, solving problems unique to wireless networks was a daunting challenge -- mostly because they didn't have the right tools or the tools were too expensive or complicated for occasional use. With that insight we changed our focus and began developing low-cost, easy-to-use software and tools for solving the most common problems in wireless communications -- e.g. RF interference. Today, Nuts About Nets is a leading innovator of low-cost, diagnostic tools used for installing, optimizing and troubleshooting wireless networks, wireless pro audio and general-purpose RF applications.
