The LISTEN TECH LPT-A117 : REMOTE POWER SUPPLY provides a solution for powering the LT-84 ListenIR transmitter/radiator from a remotely located power supply when an AC outlet is not close. The LPT-A117 converts the barrel connector on the LA-210 power supply (included with the LT-84) to an RJ45 connector so that standard Cat 5e cable can be used to supply power over Ethernet (PoE) to the LT-84 over longer distances. This option can be used to power a standalone LT-84 or an LT-84 with one LA-141 expansion unit. The use of 24 AWG cable is recommended for optimal distances.
