The MYMIX DANTE AUDIO INTERFACE : 16V32 is an ADAT/Dante to myMix interface system designed to add 16 digital inputs at 24-bit / 48 kHz resolution to your existing myMix setup. It includes one myMix IEX-16L-A 16-channel input expander, a Ferrofish Verto32 32-channel ADAT/Dante format converter, and their external power supplies. Connect your sources to the Verto32's TOSLINK ADAT inputs and Dante ports, then hook up its ADAT outputs to the optical inputs of the IEX-16L-A input expander. The input expander integrates to your myMix network via a front-panel RJ45 port.

myMix IEX-16L-A 16-Channel Input Expander for myMix Systems

The myMix IEX-16L-A 16-Channel Input Expander comes with two DB25 connectors and allows connection of up to 16 balanced line-level signals that can be fed from devices such as mixing consoles or external microphone pre-amps. The IEX16L-A comes with two 8-channel ADAT inputs that can be activated individually. This allows usage of 16 line level sources or 8 line level sources and 8 ADAT inputs, or 16 ADAT inputs on a single IEX-16L-A expander.

Multiple IEX-16L expanders can be used in a myMix network. The IEX-16L-A can be configured using any myMix device on the network or the optional myMix CONTROL software, including input channel naming and stereo linking. The configuration is stored automatically in the IEX-16L-A. The optional myMix CONTROL software allows uploading/downloading of complete settings for the IEX-16L-A expander. The expander can be locked by connecting a myMix to the CONFIG port, or via the myMix CONTROL. The CONFIG ports provide all the data but no audio. It can also be used to connect the myMix CONTROL network interface (myMIx PLUG).

Ferrofish Verto32 32-Channel ADAT/Dante Format Converter

The Ferrofish Verto32 is a 32-channel ADAT/Dante format converter offering a compact solution for interfacing ADAT-capable gear into your Dante audio network. Ideal for broadcast, television, and live stage applications, it converts ADAT signals to Dante format, and Dante channels to ADAT streams. The Verto32 has four TOSLINK optical ADAT inputs and outputs, and two RJ45 Dante ports, allowing easy hookup to your existing equipment. It supports sample rates up to 96 kHz, and accommodates up to 32 channels of digital I/O.

Use the BNC word clock jacks for proper synchronization with other digital devices such as a master clock or A/D-D/A converter. Remote control of the Verto32 is possible using MIDI messages via the MIDI input or Dante network. Front-panel LEDs indicate the status of power, Dante connection, and ADAT sync. Power the half-width 1 RU Verto32 via the included 12V power supply.
