The DESVIEW R7S II : 4K HDMI 3G-SDI provides professional monitoring in a sharp 7" IPS LCD with 1920 x 1200 resolution, 2600 cd/m² brightness, 1100:1 contrast ratio, and touchscreen control, along with a menu scroll wheel. The updated brightness makes it even easier to view your footage clearly in bright sunlight conditions.

A lock screen button prevents accidental changes to your settings from the touchscreen. The IPS LED panel has a viewing angle of 178° L/R, U/D for good color and contrast, even with off-axis viewing, and it displays 90% of the DCI-P3 standard. The monitor features HDMI and 3G-SDI inputs and outputs, and it supports up to DCI and UHD 4K video input and pass-through output. A built-in sensor enables the monitor to automatically adjust its brightness depending on the environment, or you can select to manually control brightness.

The R7SII is powered using the dual integrated L-series battery plates that allow hot-swapping of optional batteries, or via a separately available DC adapter. An SD card slot allows you to import custom 3D LUTs. Two 1/4"-20 threads (top and bottom) allow you to mount the monitor on a variety of configurations, or you can use the included cold shoe adapter to mount the monitor on your camera. The 3.5mm headphone jack allows you to monitor the embedded audio from the HDMI or 3G-SDI input.

Touchscreen

The R7II monitor adopts a 7" touchscreen panel with a 1920 x 1200 resolution and 16:10 aspect ratio. Tapping the screen with one finger can control the whole monitor, and it supports gestures such as pinch to zoom, which helps check every corner and detail of the image. A short press on the power button can lock the screen to prevent accidental changes to your selections.

The 2600 cd/m² high brightness provides a clear display, even when filming in bright exteriors.

An integrated light sensor will adjust the screen's backlight brightness automatically according to the environmental change, which can protect your eyes and provide a comfortable monitoring experience at night.

HDR boasts a wider color gamut than SDT, and the monitor supports 90% of the DCI-P3 standard. It also increases the color depth to reduce the occurrence of banding between similar colors, allowing more control on contrast or black levels to create more realistic-looking images.

3G-SDI & 4K HDMI Input/Output

The monitor supports both 3G-SDI and 4K HDMI signal input/output, including 1920*1080p, 3840*2160p, 4096*2160p, which enables uncompressed video transmission and multiple devices monitoring. R7S monitor is compatible with Canon, Sony, Nikon, Panasonic, FujiFilm cameras and professional camcorders. 3.5mm headphone port for real-time audio checking.

2600nits High Brightness with Light Sensor

2600nits high brightness provides a clear display even filming under the sunlight. 1100:1 contrast ratio and 178°viewing angle ensures a great monitoring experience from different angles. A light sensor will adjust the screen backlight brightness automatically according to the environmental change, which can protect your eyes and provide a comfortable monitoring experience at night.

HDR Display Function

In contrast to normal SDR images, High-Dynamic-Range (HDR) allows you to see more of the details and colours in images. HDR boosts a wider colour gamut, meeting around 90 percent of the DCI-P3 standard, the colour space currently used by the film industry for cinema. It also increases the colour depth to reduce the occurrence of banding between similar colours, more control on contrast or black levels to create more realistic-looking images.

Custom 3D LUT, Waveform, and Vectorscope

The Desview R7SII monitor has many professional Auxiliary shooting functions, such as Histogram, Vectorscope, Waveform, False Colour, Focus Peaking, Zoom, etc. You can import custom LUTs via SD card, to change the image colour tone instantly. The histogram shows the brightness of images, The waveform shows exposure information, and the Vectorscope shows the image's colour construction. Greatly facilitate the shooting process.
