While you can use it for light painting, this is a serious light fixture, with flexibility being key to its design. The light has an expansive CCT colour range that's variable from 2500-8500K to blend in seamlessly with ambient light conditions, match other fixtures, or express creative effects. It also has an RGB mode that enables its red, green, and blue LEDs to select from 360 colours with hue and saturation control to produce a myriad of colour combinations. Light intensity is variable as well, from 0-100%. The Chameleon also has 10 pre-programmed special effects such as cop car, candlelight, 2 types of lightning, ambulance, fire truck, cinema, SOS, and both slow and fast RGB.

The Chameleon has a built-in rechargeable battery that will give you a 4-hour runtime on a full charge at 100% power. The light comes with a charger/AC adapter, soft filter, and a carrying bag.
