01-SOU-EFF-005

A compelling option for guitarists, keyboardists, and synth players seeking to add depth and dimension to their sound, the BEHRINGER DUAL-PHASE : ANALOG SHIFTER PEDAL is a versatile analog phase-shifter pedal that offers an authentic recreation of an iconic bi-phase-shifter pedal from the '70s, with modern enhancements. Equipped with two independent phase circuits, each with dedicated Rate, Depth, and Feedback controls, musicians have unparalleled flexibility to craft a wide range of swirling, psychedelic, or subtle phasing textures. You can chain these effects in series or parallel for expansive sonic possibilities. Plus, select between sine-wave and square-wave oscillators for each phase shifter, to sculpt your sound with precision. The pedal runs on Behringer PSU-SB AC adapter (available separately). Its robust construction ensures durability, making the Dual-Phase suitable for both studio use and live performances.

Core Features

  • Analog Circuitry: Authentic recreation of the original analog design.
  • Dual Phase Shifters: Features two independent phase shifters ("Phasor A" and "Phasor B") that can be run in series or parallel.
  • Opto-couplers: Uses 12 opto-couplers for a deep and natural phasing effect.
  • Dual Sweep Generators: Two independent sweep generators with Rate and Shape controls.
  • Waveforms: Each sweep generator allows you to switch between sine and square wave shapes.
  • CV Input: Includes a CV (Control Voltage) input for remote control of sweep speed with external devices like an expression pedal or a synthesizer. The CV input is a 1/4" TRS jack with a range of 0 V to +5 V.
  • True-Bypass: Features a dual footswitch with a true-bypass function for ultimate signal integrity.
  • Rugged Construction: Built with a reliable metal chassis.

Controls

  • Sweep Generator 1 & 2:
    • Rate: Rotary knobs to adjust the sweep speed. Control range is 0.1 Hz to 18 Hz.
    • Shape: Rocker switches to select between sine and square wave.
  • Phasor A:
    • Sweep: Rocker switch to select the modulation source between Sweep Generator 1 or the CV input.
    • Depth: Rotary knob to control the intensity of the effect.
    • Feedback: Rotary knob to control the amount of the effect's output fed back into its input.
  • Phasor B:
    • Sweep Sync: Rocker switch for normal or reverse phase synchronization.
    • Sweep: Rotary switch to select the modulation source between Sweep Generator 1, Sweep Generator 2, or the CV input.
    • Depth: Rotary knob for depth control.
    • Feedback: Rotary knob for feedback control.
    • Phasor B Input: A 3-way rotary switch to route the signal to Phasor B from either Input A, the output of Phasor A (for a series configuration), or Input B.
