Driven by a desire to meet the budget radio communications needs of local and privateer motor sport enthusiasts in South Africa, Radio Reynolds was established almost by accident.

Locally available kits ranged from R20,000 upwards and were just out of reach of the local Weekend Racer.

There was clearly a need for something more affordable.
