The shipping cost of your order is estimated upon checkout. The fee is generally R150 within South Africa for orders that are under R5 000. For orders above R5 000, shipping is free within South Africa.
Shipping times are generally:
Shipping fees include handling and packing fees as well as postage costs and import duties into South Africa. Although shipping includes insurance, the package/s will be dispatched at your own risk. However, due to the nature of the items being purchased, special care is taken to protect fragile objects. Boxes are amply sized by either the manufacturer or by the staff of Pro Gear SA, and your items are well-protected.
The estimation is performed according to the weight of items (the larger of either physical or volumetric), where the item originates, and is calculated live to get the best rates possible. Shipping items are bundled together per supplier, where possible, in order to save on shipping costs. (We have negotiated discount rates with shipping companies).
We deliver orders anywhere in South Africa. Should you be outside of South Africa, we can still arrange delivery to you. Please contact us directly before placing your order, so we can confirm shopping costs.
Payment may be made via Visa, MasterCard, Debit and Credit cards, as well as Instant EFT (SID). All our payments are secure and handled by Paygate and FNB. We have negotiated a merchant account in order to keep these costs as low as possible. Another option is for you to handle your own bank EFT transfer, as this will carry an even lower processing fee. (Place an order, receive your invoice and pay it using the order number as a reference). Orders will only be processed once the funds are reflected in Pro Gear SA's account.
Pro Gear SA does not directly offer financing for any of the products available on our website. However, we know that professional gear can be expensive. That's why we've teamed up with South Africa's top finance providers, so you can get the gear you need today and get your production started. K-Tek introduces the first Stingray hat especially designed for sound recordists working outdoors. The new Stingray Sunhat not only provides heat and sun protection but is a perfect fit with over-the-ear headphones.
The simple and ingenious design features an ample opening over each temple with magnetic snaps, so users can wear the hat, put headphones on, slip the earphones through the openings, and close the magnetic snaps of the brim.
The Stingray Sunhat is constructed of a special sand-colored, lightweight fabric that is categorized as UPF50, which meets standards set by ASTM International, a global standards organization. This material blocks 98% of the sun’s UVA and UVB rays. The half brim offers shade in the front and a built-in neck cover offers more protection. Various cooling vents maximize comfort. The one-size-fits-all design incorporates an adjustable elastic sizing band. The integrated chin strap ensures the hat stays in place, even during a windy day on location.
Although the Stingray Audio Sunhat was designed for professional Sound recordists on location, there are other practical applications as well. This unique design allows for over-the-head hearing protection, earmuffs or any ear muff style on-the-ear or over-the-ear headphones.
The K-Tek Stingray Sunhat is machine washable without losing its UV protection.
