It is this desire to always do better, to be better, that has made Absto the success it is today. It has become part of our culture as a company, and the inspiration for our brand Altezze.

A name that stuck.

Brainstorming for a name for our line of adhesive tapes, we knew that we would need to come up with something that not only embodied our spirit as a company, but also served as a constant source of inspiration.

The name Altezze is derived from the Latin word Altezza, which means “height” or “elevation”. This meaning struck a chord with us. In our constant striving for betterment, the idea of “reaching new heights” was something that we could identify with. Both in terms of what we have already achieved, as well as the goals that we work towards on a daily basis.

So much more than just a logo, Altezze is fast becoming the leading adhesive tape brand in South Africa.
